Project Title: Bob Harris
Date: 2018
City: Austin, TX
Featured on the 2025 Austin Outdoor Living Tour, this project transformed a compact property into a private, multi level retreat for everyday living and entertaining. IPE decking, a custom pergola, poolside planting, an outdoor shower, and integrated lighting bring warmth, privacy, and resort style ease to the home.
A custom built, cotto-tiled fireplace anchors this poolside space, creating a warm focal point and natural gathering area at the end of the pool. Poured concrete pavers, turf joints, new steel stairs, and hillside planting bring clean, modern transitions to the site’s geometric layout.
This backyard blends pool, patio, deck, and lounge space into one easy flow. Turf-set stone pavers, warm hardwood tones, patterned pool tile, and relaxed seating areas create a polished space that still feels casual and comfortable.
